Freedom of Speech in the United States

An excellent library of court decisions related to free speech in the United States, compiled as part of a book, Freedom Of Speech In The United States, by Dale A. Herbeck and Thomas L. Tedford.

Covers historical development in England, including the Magna Carta and John Stuart Mill, then moves onto modern controversies such as privacy rights, obscenity, and copyright.

A very useful resource for accessing primary source legal materials relating to free speech.

The book looks interesting too, although I have not read it as yet.
