WaPo — Bush Order Expands Network Monitoring:
President Bush signed a directive this month that expands the intelligence community’s role in monitoring Internet traffic to protect against a rising number of attacks on federal agencies’ computer systems.
Somehow, I am not reassured by this news.

Different social networks serve different purposes. Keep them straight, but always remember that what you post online could end up anywhere and post accordingly.
The FCC re-classifies in response to Comcast
Last month, Comcast won its appeal in a federal appeals court in D.C. against the FCC's attempt to require network neutrality. As predicted by some, the FCC is proceeding with plans to reclassify broadband providers, and thus escape the ruling entirely.
