Interestingly, “remote com­put­ing ser­vices” are not men­tioned in this sec­tion. Instead, only “wire or elec­tronic com­mu­ni­ca­tion ser­vice provider[s]” must pro­vide “sub­scriber infor­ma­tion and toll billing records infor­ma­tion, or elec­tronic com­mu­ni­ca­tion trans­ac­tion records” upon proper cer­ti­fi­ca­tion by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
